Releasing
the Stone: November 25, 26, 27, 2011
Family Heirlooms
Great Grandmother’s wedding ring… keeper.
Great Grandmother’s cycles of guilt and depression… NOT.
The passing down of family traits is rarely questioned. “He’s just like his father” and “She gets it from her mother” are everyday words people use to describe family members. What if those traits are things like depression, mental illness, alcoholism or abuse? Do we still want them? Do we have a choice?
Intergenerational hand-me-downs are a major cause of dysfunction and unhappiness. If you heal it, your children won’t have to feel it.
Register now for this powerful three-day workshop and see how you can Release the Family Stone.
Overview
Every person has a family lineage through which basic family belief systems travel. They are the fundamental core structures of identity and most often the unconscious motivation behind the paths we take and our life choices along the way; some of these choices even going against our own character while feeling bound to attitudes and behaviors that no longer serve us. Some questions to ponder that will help you notice if you act or react unconsciously from intergenerational beliefs.
Do you…
• over react or take things out of context then feel bad about it later?
• find yourself regressing in age among certain people or family members?
• defend people, attitudes or traditions?
• behave in ways that don’t feel authentic to your true nature?
• become stressed, angry or dwell upon things that you can’t control?
• have a nagging sense that something in your life doesn’t fit for you?
• require approval from others before making decisions?
• struggle to maintain healthy relationships?
• …Feel stuck?
During this workshop you will…
• Learn about the structure of family and relationship dynamics.
• Learn how dysfunction is passed down from generation to generation.
• Find out how to identify and interrupt the cycles of intergenerational issues that cause dysfunction and unhappiness.
• See how energetic displacement inhibits social, emotional and mental development.
• Understand how you automatically help your children by helping yourself.
• Realize, that through your own awareness, you have the power to transform any situation, and live an authentic, purpose filled life.
Continue on this path and you will…
• Discover your Authentic Self by turning in unwanted baggage
• Discover more fulfilling relationships with family and friends
• Stop automatic reactive behavior between family members
• Stop handing down baggage and start handing down choices
While this workshop contains lots of good information, it also focuses on the process of moving through the feelings and emotions associated with intergenerational issues. You will leave this experience with a new perspective and a new approach to dealing with the everyday discomfort of living.
When intergenerational issues lurk in the unconscious, even our very best efforts seem to frequently miss the mark. Interrupting the cycle automatically frees future generations of old attitudes and behaviors so that a new wave of consciousness may begin to mend what is broken, find what is lost and walk us graciously into the age of peace and enlightenment.
