What is the purpose of Meditation?

It will help to connect you with your intuition.
It will help you to create a calm, centered awareness of your internal environment.
It will help your body to heal from stress related conditions.
It will help replenish your energy.
It will help your mind quiet the internal dialogue
It will help you communicate with Your Higher Self.

Your Higher Self is where you keep all the answers to everything you need to know about Your Life.

What kind of Meditation do we do?

Some Meditations will direct your awareness away from your body; other kinds of meditation bring your focus into your body, each having distinctly different results.

We practice turning our awareness inward, becoming more grounded and more connected to our physical body, our feelings and our intuition.

If you are interested in learning, but find it too difficult on your own, a structured meditation program can help. You will learn some basic concepts about grounding and you will learn how common misconceptions may have hindered your efforts in the past. This program runs one evening per week for eight weeks. Every week will take you to the next level in the process. During the week you practice what you learn then bring your questions and experience back to the group for discussion. You will finish this course with the skills, awareness and grounding you need to maintain a life long, personal meditation discipline.
