Have you ever asked yourself if you are actually who you believe yourself to be? Have you ever questioned the authenticity of your thoughts or feelings? Your Authentic Self is who you are or who you would be if you could peel away the personas, attitudes, pseudo feelings and labels that have been given to you or embraced by you but are not innately part of you. They are behaviours that you embodied to please others or to stay safe. These behaviours at their worst can be dangerous, causing much pain and suffering and at their best will keep your Authentic Self, intuition and highest potential concealed from your awareness. Anyone who chooses may begin to discover a more real and genuine sense of self while gently shedding aspects of self which no longer serve the soul or its purpose.

When you begin to let go of pseudo feelings and personalities, Intuition naturally begins to emerge. Intuition is meant to guide you through your life. Of course informed discernment is always a part of any decision making process, Intuition often alerts you to the next step, a good idea or a potential disaster.

We all have Intuition and many of us use it knowingly or unknowingly. What makes it accurate and reliable is the clarity of your conversations with yourself. Think of it as if you were a satellite receiver. Your authentic self picks up and accurately interprets a clear signal. You then go ahead and factor in this thing called a gut feeling into your everyday life. The more you tune into it the more you learn about the parameters within which you can rely on it for information. Intuition received by your authentic self is accurate because your authentic self is grounded in authentic feelings and feeling is how Intuition is communicated.

When pseudo feelings (false feelings which appear real) are used to cope with significant emotional experiences they form a barrier between you and your authentic self. Your Intuition must be filtered through your pseudo feelings becoming fragmented and distorted. Because intuition is communicated through feeling and pseudo feelings are false, interpretations become subject to varying degrees of inaccuracy.

When your intuition is off it is difficult to be sure of yourself when it comes to feelings and relationships. A good relationship that benefits both parties is one based on things like appropriateness, trust, compatibility and healthy boundaries. Intuition is what guides you towards and away from potential relationships and gently cautions your awareness once in one. In a healthy relationship, your authentic self goes to work to form a bond with the other person’s authentic self. If all goes well you form a safe, cohesive connection with a spouse, friend or co-worker. The problem with many relationships is that they are driven by pseudo feelings and a false sense of identity. Intuition is often turned off, ignored or misinterpreted and the people involved are left to sail this ship with few or no skills. Spouses who know how to ask questions, listen, respond and validate have a higher rate of success. People who learn to work through power struggles and the related feelings are able to work their relationships to a much deeper level. Being educated and skilled in Relationship Dynamics will make having one an interesting challenge instead of a tiresome guessing game.
